Project Mission & Goal

Emotional competence is essential to children development. If we can cultivate children's emotional competence from an early age, it will be of great help to their future biopsychosocial development and interpersonal relationship. Given this, the Hans Andersen Club in cooperation with the City University of Hong Kong, launched the " Project Love to Read" & " Project Read for Joy", which are emotional education courses for students from junior to senior classes and their parents. The 2 project are designed to help preschoolers develop emotional intelligence, social relationships, and prosocial behavior. Thankful to have the support from the corporate partners and the Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged, this year, 12 kindergartens joined and beneficiaries reached 1,411.
