Story of HAC

「Cherish our Children, Cultivate our Community」

We believe that stories are a means to move children, equip them to have good moral value and the ability to learn. Books can inspire children, enhance their thinking and creativity.

Inception of HAC. Service to the residents of Diamond Hill
1963
Opening of Rose Minie Centre at Tai Hom Village of Diamond Hill, provided services until 2002
於鑽石山大磡村成立梅禮中心至2002年
1976
Opening of Diana Boyd Wilson Centre at Wang Tau Hom Estate, Wong Tai Sin (Subvented by Social Welfare Department)
於黃大仙區横頭磡邨成立包威信兒童中心 (社會福利署資助)
1985
Opening of Apleichau Centre at Ap Lei Chau, provide services until 1997
於鴨脷洲成立兒童中心至1997年
1988
Provision of service to children at the Vietnamese Detention Camp until 1997
為越南難民營兒童提供服務至1997年
1990
Opening of Chuk Yuen Centre at Chuk Yuen North Estate
於黃大仙竹園北邨成立竹園中心

2014
Provide storytelling service to kindergartens, primary and secondary schools and public libraries in Hong Kong
致力發展創意故事服務，進入中學、小學、幼稚園及公共圖書館提供相關服務
2019
2015年開始，夥拍本會主席香港城市大學社會及行為科學系副教授馮麗姝博士推動「悅讀新視野」計劃並參與其研究Group Storytelling Intervention Based on Social Information Processing (SIP) Model to Reduce Reactive and Proactive Aggression in Young Schoolchildren，計劃於2022年獲香港城市大學人文社會科學院認可並頒發 「知識轉移卓越大獎」。
